What is venous return?
To put it simply... venous return means that the blood in your residual limb is going back towards your heart (through your veins).

Why is it so important to me?
When the blood does not travel smoothly back to your heart, new blood supply cannot reach all tissue layers of your residual limb. It can cause extreme discomfort and lead to SERIOUS problems with your residual limb.

How can your venous return be improved?
Years of research have demonstrated that the only effective way to enhance venous return is by applying gradient compression on your residual limb. This will help the return of blood towards your heart. You will then experience unequalled comfort. You are likely to notice healthier skin, much less perspiration and even new hair growth.

What is gradient compression?
Gradient compression means applying proper pressure to the distal end of your limb and slowly decreasing the amount of compression going up the limb, thus helping venous return.

OK, it makes sense to me,
how do I get the proper gradient compression?
The DAWFlo® Vascular Enhancement Ensemble is the ONLY patented system which can provide these benefits - Obviously to obtain proper compression it must be properly sized by your Certified Prosthetist.
